Fast forward to modern times where food products and toxins deprive the body of essential nutrients needed to maintain optimal health. Such stressors impair our vital foundations and leave us vulnerable to degenerative diseases, illness, dysfunction and infertility.

My Specialties

My approach to wellness is built on a deep understanding of how genetics and environment intersect. Having studied extensively with Dr. Ben Lynch’s company Seeking Health, I specialize in genetics, SNPs, and epigenetic expression. This expertise is further enhanced by a fellowship with Dr. James Greenblatt at Psychiatry Redefined, focusing on genetic and nutrient pathways for cognitive health, especially in children and teens. Recognizing the powerful link between gut and skin health, I also completed Dr. Julie Greenberg’s Root Cause Dermatology program in 2025. These diverse disciplines allow me to view the body as a truly interconnected system—integrating genetics, gut health, cognition, and dermatology to help you lead a longer, more vibrant life.

Today's Dinner Plate

Today's foods are processed to increase shelf life and maximize taste. Nutrients that are natural to food when it is harvested are stripped away to prevent spoilage. While synthetic vitamins are often added back in, the body does not assimilate them as easily as in their natural state. Beneficial probiotics, enzymes and other natural components are also lost. Pasteurization, irradiation and other procedures designed to make the food safe actually damage vital protein and fatty acid structures. All of this impairs digestion and leads to inflammatory processes which degrade health and foster illness.

Generations ago, dietary staples contained a far greater nutrient content than what's on the dinner plates of today. Fruits and vegetables contained an abundance of minerals while meats, dairy and grains contained an ample supply of vitamins and fatty acids. Food was also prepared according to traditional methods that made the nutrients more available and beneficial to the body.
